Description

The Cerka-firka playground is located in Budapest's 11th district, atop Gellért Hill, near the Búsuló Juhász restaurant. Its standout feature is a climbing structure made of giant, colorful pencils, reminiscent of a spilled pencil case. Children particularly enjoy the pencil sharpener-shaped treadwheel and the in-ground trampoline. The playground also includes slides, swings, roundabouts, and a sandbox. The "Useful Waste Path" offers an interactive way for kids to learn about selective waste collection and composting. Although the playground is not fenced, the surrounding area is free from car traffic, ensuring safety for children. Amenities such as a drinking fountain and mobile toilets are available on-site. The playground is easily accessible from Móricz Zsigmond Square via bus number 27, alighting at Búsuló Juhász. The green, shaded environment makes it an ideal spot for family outings.
