Description

The Városliget KRESZ Park is located in Budapest's 14th district, in the heart of City Park, and underwent a complete renovation in 2024. The park aims to teach children traffic rules and basic road safety in a playful manner. The 6,000-square-meter play area features a miniature city where children can practice traffic scenarios in a realistic environment. The park includes traffic signs, traffic lights, railway crossings, a gas station, and an electric car charger, allowing children to experience various traffic situations. The area was expanded to 30,000 m², with over 39 trees, 5,600 shrubs, and 22,000 perennials planted to create a greener and more welcoming environment. The park is free to visit and can be used with various vehicles like scooters, balance bikes, or small cars. Through the KRESZ School program, children aged 5 to 12 can participate in organized sessions to learn the basics of safe traffic in a fun way. The park is easily accessible by public transport and is open year-round. Városliget KRESZ Park is an ideal destination for families who want their children to learn traffic rules safely and playfully.
